There's a new sherif in town and his names Airmuscle!

So heres a little run down on how the purchase of this vacuum went.. TIME CONSUMING! I wanted to see what all the hype was about with this new dyson that came out and bring one on home to see how it worked. I went to sears *don't usually get vacuums here that often* and there were about 7 or 8 people there and wouldn't you know it one sales person... the sales man was just getting down the vacuums that people were asking about and showing them how to turn it on and then disappeared. So I was there looking at this dc28 and comparing it to the dc17 the test carpet at sears sucks! it made it feel 100x's harder to push than it was when I got home but while I was there trying it out a woman asked if I knew any thing about dyson *of course I said yes*
Long story short I was able to play vacuum sales man.. she was a very nice lady.... BUT when we both asked the sales clerk when he returned that we both wanted one... he said they only had ONE in stock.... we looked at each other... then she said Ill take it...
HA HA HA funny nope. I said sorry lady but I was here first... and the sales man remembered getting the vacuum off the shelf for me and said yes mam he was here first. So there I was spend my last 550 dollars on a vacuum.
But there is more! Sadly on the condition that I keep this vacuum I must return the dc17 :( well I went home opend the box and put it together.

Heres where the review starts-

Assembly is as easy as ever just snap the wand on put the attachments on the vacuum and go. when you first go to use the vacuum you will be confronted with five buttons power, bare floors, low, medium, and high pile. It automatically starts up on medium pile and from there is where u just push the pile of carpet you have. This dyson is not as loud as my dc17 and weight is almost identical the 17 might be a few oz's heavier. The vacuum feels even more self propelled than my dc17 and doesn't seem as bulky to me in my opinion. The current and only model at the time * the animal * has the following accessories: Stair tool or as I call it the couch tool, Combo brush * I HATE THIS * I wish dyson just kept the two tools separate this tool to me is awkward and makes me just use other attachments or another dysons tools to * dust * or get things out of the base boards.
Being the animal it comes with a Turbo tool LOVE THIS TOOL its much nicer than the bulky clumsy one that it is replacing at first it looks as tho its not that great but when you actually put it on carpet its brushes go faster and faster and when you take them away it lows down * I think its a safety thing * It also comes with a Flat out tool MY FAVE! Its replacing the low reach tool from what I was told. The low reach tool would always lift up when I would be moving it back and cause it to be removed from the ground the new flat out tool lifts the center portion and keeps constant contact with the floor.

This dyson fluffs like there is no tomorrow! My whole carpet looks like it was just shampooed *that fluffy*. You now have two filters to clean instead of one but is not much of an issue its just giving you cleaner air. The vacuum when you get and turn it on smells like a retired navy ship by that I mean grease. The reason it has it is to keep the moving parts :clutch motor and cam lubricated. The cam helps to push the cleaner head into the floor giving constant and most aggressive cleaning head. The brushes on the head are longer than any dysons made to date and stiff * meaning that it will lift carpet nap and remove lots of stuck dirt *

This dyon is my absolute FAVORITE! I know I ay that in almost every review but this dyson doesnt look that how would you say.... appealing but it sure packs a punch that no dyson has before. This dyson works so well that I will unfortunately be returning the dc17 to cover most of the cost for this one... But the dc17 is a great vacuum and it is and was a very hard toss up.. but the dc17 I purchased I think might have been dropped and hit a few times in shipping as it was because compared to the dc17 at sears mine is 10x's louder * doesn't seem to right * BUT if fooled me because I thought it was fine and it still worked better than any of the others.

Pros: Almost every thing above.
Cons: $599.99 price tag should be $549.99 like the other animals were but still worth every penny, Combo brush is a night mare in the making.
